Coming soon: Vendor price increases up to 18%
CHS propane equipment maintains strong relationships with GEC, Bergquist and FEI, helping us stay informed of vendor price increases and communicate changes in a timely manner. Our vendors continue to experience the upward pressures associated with material, tariff, labor, and supply chain freight costs. These cost implications have especially impacted the brass product lines with realized copper and brass raw material increases up over 37% year to date.
- GEC:
- Effective 12/1/2026, REGO and MEC regulators will see a 5.5% increase, and all brass items, excluding regulators” will see an 18% increase
- Effective 1/1/2027, Liquid Controls will have a 2.3% increase on meters & registers and 4% increase on other items
- Bergquist:

- FEI:

Beyond these announced increases, rising steel costs and the broader industry point to the potential for additional equipment price increases in the future, including LP tanks. While future increases have not been officially announced, current market conditions make now a good time to evaluate upcoming equipment needs and plan purchases where possible.
These increases could affect several commonly used propane components, including pigtails, Rego multi-service valves, regulators and other equipment. CHS energy equipment is here to help you plan ahead, identify your needs and explore opportunities to save before higher prices take effect.
Plan ahead and maximize your savings before prices increase.
